In some cases, yes.  We can adapt your Vino Argo® to handle two devicess, or one Pungo and one “The Other One”.  We even have custom under/in cabinet installations available in some areas, where you see nothing but a small chrome outlet in your cabinet and simply plug into your argon whenever you want!

We have installed dozens of custom systems powering one or two devices at a time, to as many as six operating at one time!  Call Analgesic Services, Inc. for details at 888.928.1068

The gauge on the Vino Argo® kit has a green FULL mark around 2000 psi.  However, we typically fill our cylinders to approximately 1500 psi, mostly for safety reasons.

One simple way to check for leaks is to disconnect the hose from the regulator, and fully open then close the cylinder.  Watch the gauge needle.  If the pressure indicated does not decrease, there is no leak in the regulator.  Disconnect the hose from the Vino Argo® adapter handle and connect it to the regulator only.  Then fully open and close the cylinder.  Watch the gauge needle again.  If the pressure indicated does not decrease, there is no leak in the hose.  Finally, connect the other end of the hose to the Vino Argo® adapter handle.  Fully open and close the cylinder once more.  Watch the gauge needle.  If the pressure indicated does not decrease, the complete system is not leaking.  If at some point you do see that the gauge needle starts to fall, then the last component connected may need service.  The most common leak, however, is that there is no O-ring between the Vino Argo® adapter handle and the Device.  You MUST have an O-ring on the adapter handle when you install it on the Device.

The gauge has a red “REFILL” mark from 0-500 psi. When the needle is at the top of the red mark (500 psi), you still have about 1/3 of the capacity remaining. We typically recommend that you call us for a refill when the gauge is around the “F” in “REFILL.” Once requested, we can typically get a refill to you within a week, and you will likely have plenty of Argon gas remaining to last until your refill.

It is best practice that when you are done accessing your wine, you remove the needle from the cork immediately. This will allow the cork to reseal and prevent air from entering the bottle. You may leave the Device clamped onto the bottle, and it is perfectly fine to leave the Vino Argo® hose attached to the Device. Another best practice is to close the Argon cylinder when it is not in use.

If you remove the Vino Argo® adapter handle from the Device, you may find that the O-ring (washer) remains in the Device. This is common. If the O-ring is not severely damaged, it can be replaced on the center tip of the Vino Argo® adapter handle & reinstalled onto the Device. If it is damaged, replace it with one of the extra O-rings that came in the Vino Argo® kit box. You MUST have an O-ring on the Vino Argo® adapter handle when you install it on the Device! Contact any distributor if you need additional replacement O-rings.

Device

The Vino Argo® kit uses a regulator at the cylinder to reduce the pressure entering the Device. This provides an extra measure of safety when using the device. Device capsules have 2600 psi when full; with the Vino Argo, there is only 50 – 60 psi entering the Device. This reduced pressure may cause the Device to pour a little more slowly—it also means that you are less likely to over-pressurize the wine bottle, and therefore reduce the chance of breakage.
